By registering for or using HomeFin, you confirm that:
HomeFin provides the following features to registered users:
HomeFin is a personal financial management tool only. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, accounting services, or any regulated financial service. All budgets, figures and reports are for your personal reference only.
When you register, you create a personal account linked to a family group. The family "head" has administrative control, including the ability to invite and remove members, change roles, and manage budget settings.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mlondiem.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must not share your account credentials with anyone outside the family invite system.
You agree not to use HomeFin to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found in violation of these Terms without notice.
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into HomeFin. We do not sell, rent or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our full data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By using HomeFin, you grant Mlondiem Technologies a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
All intellectual property rights in HomeFin, including the software, design, brand name, logo, and content, are owned by Mlondiem Technologies. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service.
HomeFin is currently in beta. We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, update these Terms, or introduce paid plans in the future. Continued use after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mlondiem Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of HomeFin, including loss of data, financial decisions based on information in the app, or service interruptions.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Eswatini. For international users, we endeavour to comply with applicable local data protection laws including the EU GDPR, South Africa's POPIA, and relevant pan-African data protection frameworks.
Any dispute shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation for 30 days, after which disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Eswatini, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection laws.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@mlondiem.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.
